Steering Box Frame Rail Cracks

I noticed these cracks during my last service/inspection.

Should probably drill them out at the ends so they don't spread then weld them up.

Perhaps a steering box brace will help prevent some of the stress that caused these cracks.

Diesel Grand Cherokee in Stockholm

This is cool!  I want a diesel in my XJ.

Instructions for use:

It started to flicker,

Candle making

I melted a bunch of candles down in this glass jar in a pot of hot water on the stove.  I put a new wick in, let's see how it goes.

Satchel

I've had this bag since 2001.  

That camo pocket was a custom job - a tribute to my old motorcycle pants.  The cargo pocket from the left leg, duck-taped on to the front flap.  Camo duct tape, too!

I removed the old dirty tape and pocket and replaced them with this woven ribbon and a patch.  A new custom job!

rear seat modification

it was a lot more work than the front!

I had to also modify the seat cushions which were both taller, wider, and deeper than stock.

I had to cut out clearance for the transmission tunnel to get the seat to hinge into place correctly.

 Finished product!
